In 2017, the Serpentine Gallery presented a major exhibition 'The Most Popular Art Exhibition Ever!' of new work by Grayson Perry. As part of the exhibition, the artist's hand-made ceramic work ‘Long Pig’ featured at the entrance to the show. Emulating its larger counterpart, this dual-headed 'Little Pig'  piggy bank faces in both directions to visually represent a culturally and politically polarised nation. The multiple coin slots are inscribed with opposing social and political identities (such as Us/Them, Leave/Remain, Young/Old), prompting the owner to “vote” with their spare change.
